This year RATHDOWN was the joint winner in the 'Living' category at the annua RIAI Awards. We are honoured and grateful for the acknowledgement from the RIAI. The jury citation noted: "Rathdown is a sympathetic ground floor extension to a 1930s semi-detached house. It impresses with beautiful proportions that work well with the spaces in the existing building. Simple design moves allow for natural cross ventilation, while the kitchen serves as the social heart of this family home. A separate utility room, which maintains direct access to the garden from the driveway, complements this cleverly laid out floor plan. Throughout this home, there are many ‘little moments’ – such as areas to dwell and enjoy the views towards the garden or carefully-designed level changes for increased privacy towards the main road – that enhance the overall experience of the desired indoor and outdoor living."

Our latest project in Darty began in the autumn. Connecting a long garden to first floor reception rooms via a new stepped granite terrace, beneath which are a family room and gym. On top, an orangery with copper roof links garden and house with expansive views west

For the second year in a row we have been awarded top prize in the annual RIAI Awards Living Category, this year for Apple Tree Terrace.
